Origination Analyst – Investment & Partnerships

About the role
The Investment & Partnerships team acquires schools worldwide and operates across multiple time‑zones. Based in London, the Origination Analyst will support the team by producing and updating macro‑research on target geographies, helping to identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Research and write in‑depth reports on economic, political and social conditions across selected regions, using a clear referencing system.
- Assess risks and opportunities for operating schools in those geographies.
- Conduct mystery‑shopping of schools to collect key data points.
- Make cold‑call outreach to potential clients, gather information and nurture relationships.
- Maintain and enrich the proprietary school database to ensure accuracy.
- Develop market knowledge to spot individual or group acquisition targets.
- Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- University degree with 1‑5 years experience in consulting, business, market research, education or a related field.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand business drivers.
- Excellent research, analytical and communication skills.
- Self‑starter, agile learner able to manage priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Personable networker with persuasive abilities; familiarity with the education sector is a plus.
