About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Outdoor Activity Instructors to join our development centre in Horsford, Norfolk for a short‑term, fixed‑term contract. You will deliver a range of adventure‑based activities to school groups, corporate teams and alternative education programmes, helping participants develop confidence and teamwork through the outdoors.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, set up and lead sessions in activities such as archery, axe throwing, bushcraft, raft building, canoeing, climbing, abseiling, high ropes, zip‑line and team‑building games.
- Adapt delivery style to suit school residentials, corporate team days and individual learners.
- Maintain safety standards, conduct risk assessments and ensure all equipment is used correctly.
- Provide on‑site lodge accommodation support and assist with daily centre operations.
- Collaborate with the centre team to develop activity schedules and report on participant progress.
Required profile
- Previous experience delivering at least one of the listed adventure activities in a centre setting.
- Competent and signed‑off on the activities you will teach.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for using the outdoors to inspire others.

What we offer
- Fixed‑term contract from 1 September 2026 to 15 October 2026 (35 hrs/week).
- Salary of £2,936.01 for the contract period (pro‑rated).
