Outpatient Registered Nurse

About the role

Spire Little Aston Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join its Outpatient unit on a full‑time basis. You will work alongside an experienced team, delivering a range of clinical services across multiple specialisms in a modern, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run nurse‑led dressing and phlebotomy clinics and assist with pre‑operative investigations.
• Carry out duties delegated by the OPD Manager or team leader to ensure efficient patient care and smooth department operation.
• Chaperone and assist consultants during examinations and minor surgical procedures, and arrange required investigations.
• Complete outpatient documentation to a high standard.
• Provide individualized nursing care and procedures in line with hospital policies.
• Maintain and supply patients with clear written information about their procedures and treatments.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration with no practice restrictions.
• Competence across a range of nursing skills.
• Experience working in teams with minimal supervision.
