Outreach Tutor – Wirral

About the role
We are seeking an Outreach Tutor to deliver personalised 1‑to‑1 tuition to children and young people across Wirral who are unable to attend mainstream education. You will help learners rebuild confidence, develop positive learning habits and make meaningful educational progress while working independently.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored one‑to‑one tutoring sessions for learners with diverse needs.
- Support students with SEND, SEMH or those disengaged from education.
- Encourage confidence building and the development of effective study routines.
- Track progress and adapt teaching approaches to meet individual goals.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring on a one‑to‑one basis.
- Experience working with learners who have SEND, SEMH or are disengaged from education.
- QTS or equivalent qualification (desirable).
- Strong relationship‑building abilities.
Required skills
What we offer
- Part‑time hours ranging from 5 to 15 per week.
- Start date in September 2026 with an ongoing contract.
- Competitive hourly rate of £25‑£30.
