Outsourced Senior Manager

About the role

Our client in Guildford is looking for an Outsourced Senior Manager to lead its specialist tax team. The role provides strategic financial guidance to SME clients, helping them drive performance, growth and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic financial advice to SMEs, supporting business performance and growth.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, financial reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, VAT and accounting regulations.
• Lead regular client meetings to review performance and provide commercial insights.
• Collaborate with audit, tax and payroll teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective controls and processes.
• Manage, coach and develop finance teams and outsourced finance functions.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience in an accountancy practice outsourcing function.
• Proven track record advising UK SMEs across multiple sectors.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation abilities.
