Outsourcing Senior Associate

About the role

We are partnering with a long‑standing accountancy and tax advisory firm to recruit an Outsourcing Senior Associate for its Central London team. The role offers a varied outsourcing portfolio, direct client contact and the chance to develop within a progressive, people‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under FRS 105, FRS 102 (including 1A) and consolidated accounts where required.
• Review bookkeeping and accounting processes performed by clients or junior staff.
• Produce standalone and consolidated management accounts using Xero, Fathom, Excel and other software.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and support clients with software setup and queries.
• Manage new client onboarding, including AML/KYC checks, engagement letters and professional clearance.
• Assist with cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and fee proposal preparation.
• Train, supervise and review work of junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of outsourcing, management accounts and statutory reporting.
• Confident, personable and able to build relationships with clients.
