Outsourcing Supervisor – Accountancy Practice

About the role

The Outsourcing Supervisor will lead a portfolio of outsourcing clients for a long‑standing chartered accountancy practice serving over 750 businesses across the Thames Valley and London. Reporting to a Partner, you will ensure high‑quality delivery of management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse outsourcing client portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Review and approve bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts produced by a team of four.
• Prepare complex management accounts and detailed financial reports.
• Mentor and support team members, assisting with their professional studies and training.
• Collaborate with Managers and Partners to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualification at minimum; ACA or ACCA preferred.
• At least 4 years experience managing outsourcing services.
• Proven ability to review junior work and oversee bookkeeping.

• Base salary £45,000‑£55,000 per annum.
