Oversight Manager - Claims and Fraud Risk

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oversight Manager to lead the development, maintenance and oversight of People, Legal, Claims and Fraud risk frameworks. The role will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, business objectives and industry best practice across the Saturn Group and its outsourced partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑line oversight and challenge across People, Legal, Claims and Fraud risk, keeping frameworks, policies, appetite, strategy, metrics and RCSAs effective and compliant.
• Review and challenge risk management frameworks, controls, processes, risk events, exceptions and remediation plans.
• Deliver independent assurance and expert challenge to first‑line teams on control adequacy and risk responses.
• Monitor emerging risks and trends, offering insight and recommendations to strengthen governance and resilience.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, business teams and outsourced partners, providing trusted risk advice.
• Facilitate transparent stakeholder engagement, translating complex risk issues into clear, actionable insights.
• Provide second‑line opinions on risk‑related initiatives and contribute to CRO and other risk reporting.
• Champion a positive, innovative and risk‑aware culture.

Required profile

• Risk professional with experience in Claims and Fraud risk within the general insurance industry.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives across large stakeholder groups and improve risk frameworks, governance and oversight.
• Strong knowledge of business operations, claims processes, legal frameworks and fraud prevention mechanisms.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as FCA/PRA.
