PA to Head Teacher & Clerk to Governors (SW London)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised Personal Assistant to support the Head Teacher and act as Clerk to the Governors in a vibrant South West London school. The role starts in September with immediate interviews and runs through the term time plus two additional weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head Teacher, including diary management, correspondence and document handling.
• Prepare and organise Governors’ meetings, take accurate minutes and maintain governance records.
• Coordinate with school departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Attend occasional evening meetings for minute‑taking.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a PA, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• DBS on the update service is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
