Packaging Design Product Development Specialist

About the role

We are a fast‑growing beauty product development and manufacturing business looking for an experienced Packaging Technologist/Designer. You will work across skincare, personal care and beauty gifting, taking packaging concepts through to market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop packaging solutions from concept to launch for beauty and personal‑care products.
• Source materials and components, manage supplier relationships and negotiate specifications.
• Oversee artwork creation, approvals and print production.
• Support sustainability and recyclability initiatives throughout the development cycle.
• Maintain technical specifications, documentation and compliance records.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, manufacturers and major retailers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in packaging design, product development, quality, technical buying or related fields.
• Strong interest in beauty, personal care or FMCG sectors.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Clear communication skills and a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members.
