Packaging Machine Operative

About the role

HR GO Recruitment are seeking a hardworking and reliable Packaging Machine Operative to join their friendly and dynamic Digital Print team in Edenbridge. The role involves operating gluing and cut & crease machinery, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Feed, operate and run the gluing line and die‑cutting machine.
• Strip pallets of work‑in‑progress, pre‑cut stock, and handle pallet wrapping and strapping.
• Perform quality checks, print and apply case labels, and organise cutting dies.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the production area.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or packaging environment.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, punctual with a positive “can‑do” attitude.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Operating gluing and cut & crease machinery.
• Using a PC and basic computer systems.
