Packaging Operative – Full‑time Warehouse Role

About the role
We are seeking two enthusiastic Packaging Operatives to join our busy warehouse team in Houghton Le Spring. The role is full‑time on a temporary basis with the possibility of permanent employment after a three‑month probation period.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods, handling items up to 25 kg.
- Operate hand‑held scanners to record stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
- Follow health‑and‑safety procedures at all times.
Required profile
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items safely.
Required skills
- Hand scanner operation.
