Packaging Technologist – Product Development

About the role

We are a fast‑growing beauty product development and manufacturing business looking for an experienced Packaging Technologist/Designer. You will work across skincare, personal care and beauty gifting, taking packaging concepts through to launch while supporting sustainability and speed‑to‑market initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop packaging solutions from concept to launch for beauty and personal‑care products.
• Source materials and components, liaise with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Manage artwork creation, approvals and print production.
• Support sustainability and recyclability projects, ensuring compliance with environmental targets.
• Maintain technical specifications, documentation and quality records.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers and junior team members throughout the development process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in packaging design, product development or related technical roles within beauty, personal care or FMCG.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
• Interest in sustainability and willingness to mentor junior staff.
