Packing Operative – 4 On/4 Off Day Shift

About the role
We are looking for reliable day‑shift Packing and Process Operatives to work at a leading food production site in Bishop’s Stortford. The role follows a fixed 4‑on/4‑off schedule (12‑hour shifts) on days, including weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Handle ingredients and materials, including occasional manual lifting.
- Operate production and packing machinery safely.
- Maintain safety and quality standards throughout the shift.
- Manage clean and efficient shift handovers.
- Communicate line production status and report process improvements.
Required profile
- Reliable and able to work day‑shift patterns.
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn; food‑production experience is a plus.
Required skills
- Operating production and packing machinery.
