Packing/Production Operative – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Packing/Production Operative to join our client’s food manufacturing team in Hungerford, Berkshire. The role starts immediately on a 12‑week temporary‑to‑permanent contract, working a rotating 4‑week shift pattern (6 am‑2 pm then 2 pm‑10 pm). Candidates must have their own transport as there is no public transport to the site.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack food products accurately and efficiently.
• Work on a production line to meet daily targets.
• Quality‑check products before packaging.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Follow production procedures and health & safety guidelines.
• Stand and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Keep the work area clean and organised.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or picking and packing is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift.
