About the role

A prestigious private hospital group in the Harley Street area of London, which is opening a new Paediatric Unit, is looking for an experienced Senior Registrar in Paediatrics through its recruiter Skilled Medical. This is a long-term locum post with no set end date, open to a doctor who can commit long term or in blocks of 2 to 3 months. It starts at the end of March or the beginning of April.

Key responsibilities

Clerking
Daily care of paediatric patients aged 3 to 18 in the surgical day unit
Assisting with outpatients
Leading and administering appropriate care for medical emergencies on site
Working alongside a Consultant and nursing team

Required profile

At least 5 years of experience, including at least 1 year in the UK
Full GMC registration
Right to work in the UK with no restriction of hours; no visa sponsorship is offered
Availability for a short interview in March

The shifts are Monday to Friday, 0800 to 2000 (12-hour days), with no weekends. Pay is still being negotiated.
