Paint Sprayer – 12 Month Contract (IR35)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer for a 12‑month contract with a leading defence and aerospace client. The position is based in Bolton and operates inside IR35, offering a rate of £29.02 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out manufacturing tasks within the Paint Department following product certification procedures and defined workmanship standards.
• Prepare components (masking) and apply paint using specialised spray equipment.
• Maintain accurate paperwork for the manufacturing data pack and ensure product certification through regular audits.
• Uphold health, safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and work collaboratively within a team.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 Surface Finisher qualification.
• Further Education Certificate at minimum Level 3 (ONC, BTEC or equivalent).
• Previous experience in aerospace or defence manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to certify own work against company quality standards.
