Painter & Decorator – Full‑Time in Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our Leeds maintenance team. You will work on a variety of internal and external painting projects across residential properties, supporting void refurbishments and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and paint internal surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and woodwork.
• Apply emulsion, gloss, and specialist finishes with precision.
• Install wallpaper and carry out decorative detailing where required.
• Perform external painting at height, including fascia boards and soffits, using ladders safely.
• Treat damp and mould issues.
• Support void property refurbishments and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Conduct snagging and touch‑up work after other trades.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to high standards.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
• Complete job records and documentation accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in painting and decorating, including wallpapering.
• Experience with damp and mould treatments.
• Ability to work safely at height and use ladders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Own hand tools and a full UK driving licence.
