Painter & Decorator – Full‑Time (Tower Hamlets)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our maintenance team in Tower Hamlets. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality internal and external painting, wallpapering, and damp‑treatment work across residential properties, ensuring each property is ready for letting or occupation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and paint internal surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and woodwork.
• Apply emulsion, gloss, specialist finishes and wallpaper with precision.
• Carry out external painting at height, including fascia boards and soffits.
• Treat damp and mould issues and perform related remedial work.
• Support void property refurbishments, reactive maintenance and snagging tasks.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle to a high standard.
• Complete job records and documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in painting, decorating and wallpapering.
• Experience with damp and mould treatment.
• Ability to work safely at height and use ladders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.
