Painter

About the role

Prepare parts for painting and apply paint finishes according to the Master Production Schedule (MPS). The role ensures that paint quality, cost efficiency, delivery dates and safety standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all parts and kits for painting in line with the specified paint system.
• Set up and operate paint systems following the manufacturer’s procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, 5S‑compliant workspace at all times.
• Document paint finish results and validate that specifications are met.
• Minimise waste of paint and solvents by planning efficient usage.
• Maintain painting equipment according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Deliver painted kits to downstream teams (Fitting, Fabrication, Impeller) on schedule.
• Stop work and report immediately if any safety concern arises.

Required profile

• Experience in operating or maintaining painting equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures and the MPS.
• Commitment to zero defects and high‑quality workmanship.
• Strong focus on safety and willingness to stop work if unsafe.

Required skills

• Painting equipment maintenance.

• Application of 5S methodology for workplace organization.
• Accurate documentation of paint specifications.
