Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter – Aerospace & Defence

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Panel Wirer/Electrical Fitter to join a leading aerospace and defence contractor. You will work on large‑scale projects, wiring cabinets, racks and boxes, and producing high‑quality wire harnesses and looms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cabinet, rack and box wiring on complex assemblies using handheld crimping tools.
• Create, route and secure wire and cable harnesses and looms for aerospace, defence, healthcare and energy projects.
• Terminate a variety of connector types to exacting standards.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date technical documentation for all work performed.

Required profile

• Proven experience on large‑scale projects in aerospace, defence, industrial, healthcare or plant sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and schematic drawings.
• Previous hands‑on experience as a panel wirer or in a similar electrical fitting role.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
