Panel Wirer – Full‑time, 4‑day week in Nottingham

About the role

Join Davenham Switchgear Ltd as a Panel Wirer at our new state‑of‑the‑art Nottingham site. This permanent, full‑time position offers a four‑day work week (Monday‑Thursday) and the chance to work on cutting‑edge switchgear for major data‑centre clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and manufacture components for electrical switchgear systems.
• Wire control panels and switchgear accurately according to detailed diagrams and specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Ensure all wiring complies with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
• Test and inspect completed panels to verify correct wiring and functionality.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve wiring‑related issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and report any faults promptly.
• Keep accurate records of wiring tasks and test results.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Assembler or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring techniques and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to electrical wiring and panel assembly.
