Paralegal - Finance

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Paralegal to join the Hub and contribute to the future development of Lexis+ UK, LexisNexis UK’s online practical guidance and research product. This 12‑month fixed‑term role focuses on Banking & Finance, Restructuring & Insolvency, Financial Services and Insurance, creating and enhancing practical legal guidance for practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Review new and existing content for quality and legal accuracy.
• Draft practical guidance materials such as practice notes, checklists and precedents.
• Collaborate with external authors and manage externally written content.
• Arrange and take notes at Consulting Editorial Board meetings and liaise with members and authors.
• Provide input on technical solutions with product teams to improve guidance delivery.
• Assist projects aimed at improving functionality of LexisNexis online materials.
• Conduct testing of the online platform and amend legal content as required.
• Participate in internal feedback activities regarding platform functionality and feature development.

Required profile

• LPC/BTC qualification with experience in finance law or a strong interest in pursuing a finance‑law career.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Experience working in a legal environment such as a law firm, in‑house team, chambers or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and content types (precedents, practice notes).
• Confidence and ownership of complex content tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable using digital platforms and legal‑technology tools.
