About the role
We are seeking a newly qualified (NQ) Paralegal to join a large, agile and long‑established firm in Chelmsford. The role offers a clear pathway towards partnership, supported by extensive training and specialist courses.
Key responsibilities
- Support fee earners on all private client matters, including wills ranging from basic to highly complex.
- Prepare and manage lasting powers of attorney.
- Handle probate files from initiation through to completion.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor (NQ) or equivalent legal qualification.
- Strong interest in private client work and ambition to progress within the firm.
- Willingness to undertake further training and specialist courses.

- Competitive salary between £24,000 and £26,000 per year, dependent on experience.
