Paralegal – Real Estate (London)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Paralegal to join our busy Real Estate team in Central London. You will support a solicitor throughout the conveyancing process, from initial instruction to post‑completion tasks, ensuring smooth and timely transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients by phone, email or in person with a professional and flexible approach.
• Draft and review legal documents related to conveyancing.
• Prepare post‑completion paperwork, including SDLT forms, registration, deed scheduling and archiving.
• Provide accurate conveyancing quotes.
• Enter and manage case data in the firm’s case management system, setting up new files.

Required profile

• Previous conveyancing experience in a legal environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work to tight timescales, use initiative and demonstrate commercial awareness.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Conveyancing processes and documentation.
• Legal document drafting.
• Use of case management software.
