Paramedic – Band 6

About the role

This temporary part‑time position supports patients undergoing cardiac CT scans in a busy private clinical environment. As a Band 6 Paramedic you will work alongside physicians and radiographers to ensure safe, high‑quality care during each procedure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient cannulation safely and accurately.
• Monitor, record and report patient observations throughout cardiac CT procedures.
• Respond promptly to adverse reactions and medical emergencies.
• Assist the on‑site physician in delivering safe clinical care.
• Collaborate with radiographers to maintain smooth patient pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional standards.

Required profile

• Current HCPC registration.
• Recognised Advanced Paramedic qualification.
• Strong experience in cardiac care.
• Up‑to‑date DBS and professional references.
• Previous experience in MRI or CT cardiac environments is advantageous.
