Paraplanner – Chartered Financial Planning Firm

About the role

We are partnering with a respected chartered financial planning firm in Central London to hire an experienced Paraplanner. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive, high‑performing wealth management team and develop long‑term expertise in serving high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to financial planners, including cash‑flow modelling and inheritance tax (IHT) planning.
• Attend client meetings and translate discussions into actionable recommendations.
• Conduct extensive product research to identify the most suitable financial solutions.
• Write and tailor high‑quality suitability letters in consultation with advisers.
• Maintain awareness of compliance requirements and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of paraplanning experience (essential).
• Level 4 qualification (essential).
• Experience working with high‑net‑worth clients (desirable).

Required skills

• Cash‑flow modelling.
• Inheritance tax (IHT) planning.
• Product research and analysis.
• Compliance and regulatory awareness.
