Paraplanner – Financial Planning (Hybrid, £40k‑£45k)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our Glasgow‑based financial planning team. Working closely with Financial Planners, you will provide technical research, cash‑flow modelling and clear, compliant reports that support high‑quality client advice.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed suitability and recommendation reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Analyse client circumstances, objectives and risk appetite.
• Research pensions, investments, protection and estate‑planning solutions.
• Prepare comparisons and analysis to support adviser recommendations.
• Create cash‑flow models for retirement and long‑term financial planning.
• Liaise with advisers to challenge or refine recommendations where appropriate.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or wealth‑management environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and broader financial planning.
