Paraplanner – Financial Planning (Newcastle)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Paraplanner to join a boutique, independent financial planning firm in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role sits within a collaborative “pod” alongside an Adviser, Associate Adviser and Administrator, delivering high‑quality, client‑focused financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection.
• Support client reviews and ongoing planning work.
• Liaise with providers and manage client data.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards and maintains high quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months experience in a Paraplanner or similar role.
• Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) highly preferable.
• Strong technical knowledge and report‑writing ability.
• Highly organised, analytical and team‑oriented.

Required skills

• Fundment platform (experience desirable).
• Transact platform (experience desirable).
• Aviva platform (desirable).
• Intelligent Office CRM (beneficial but not essential).

• Salary £35,000 – £45,000 dependent on experience.
