Paraplanner – Financial Planning Role in Cambridge

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Paraplanner to join a fast‑paced, client‑focused wealth management team in Cambridge. The role supports financial planners by preparing advice documentation and ensuring compliance, contributing directly to the firm’s growth and reputation for excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Draft suitability reports with guidance.
• Liaise with Financial Planners to gather accurate information for advice.
• Interpret adviser meeting notes and prepare appropriate recommendations.
• Support advisers with technical guidance to deliver good consumer outcomes.
• Conduct research and maintain compliance throughout all casework.
• Keep workflows and records up to date for accurate and timely reporting.
• Meet output targets for producing advice documents.
• Communicate effectively with advisers, client support, and colleagues.
• Manage personal caseload efficiently, maintaining accurate files and documentation.
• Gather and analyse policy data; produce illustrations and supporting documents.
• Assist with processing new business.

Required profile

• Experience in a Paraplanning role within Financial Services.
• Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Analytical mind and excellent attention to detail.
