Paraplanner – Financial Planning Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning firm in Liverpool. Working closely with financial advisers, you will support the delivery of high‑quality planning solutions while benefiting from a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse client information across pensions, investments and protection products.
• Prepare and write detailed suitability reports and recommendation letters.
• Conduct investment portfolio and risk analysis, produce illustrations and projections.
• Ensure client files comply with FCA and internal standards.
• Support advisers with ongoing client servicing and planning strategies.
• Collaborate with administration and adviser teams to maintain excellent client service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Paraplanning role.
• Proven ability to write technical suitability reports.
• Strong technical understanding of pensions, investments and financial planning products.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
