Paraplanner – Financial Planning Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a leading independent financial planning firm in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will work closely with senior Financial Planners, providing technical support and helping to deliver holistic financial advice to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed, personalised suitability reports for clients.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Build and maintain accurate cash‑flow models.
• Prepare recommendations that support comprehensive financial plans.
• Liaise with clients and professional introducers such as accountants and solicitors.
• Assist with advice implementation while upholding high compliance standards.
• Support Financial Planners throughout the advice process, from recommendation to implementation.

Required profile

• Experienced Paraplanner with a strong technical understanding of financial planning.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality suitability reports.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and professional partners.
• Commitment to maintaining FCA and Consumer Duty standards.
