Paraplanner – Financial Planning Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join the New Business Team of our client. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality financial planning, producing cashflow models, researching protection products, and preparing suitability reports and financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and comprehensive financial plans for clients
• Produce cashflow models and research a range of financial products
• Ensure all advice and documentation meet FCA regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate client records in back‑office systems
• Collaborate with advisers to support new‑business delivery
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance client service

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential
• Proven experience as a paraplanner with suitability report writing
• Familiarity with cashflow modelling software (Voyant preferred)
• Experience with back‑office systems (Intelliflo Office preferred)
• Understanding of FCA regulatory requirements and compliance
• Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products is desirable
• Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning
