Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a Diploma‑qualified Paraplanner to join a well‑established financial planning firm in Bristol. You will work closely with Financial Advisers to support the planning process and help deliver high‑quality, compliant advice to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and model scenarios using financial planning software.
• Prepare and review investment proposals and financial reports for clients.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisers to develop and implement tailored financial strategies.
• Research financial products, providers and investment opportunities.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records and documentation.

Required profile

• CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential.
• Strong understanding of investments, pensions, personal tax, estate planning and protection.
• Ability to perform basic tax calculations.
• Experience supporting the delivery of financial advice within a financial services environment.
• Desire to work towards Chartered status (supported by the firm).
