Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support (Hybrid, Bristol)

About the role

Eden Rose, a well‑established UK financial planning firm, is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its expanding advisory team in Bristol. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office, and offers the chance to work closely with Financial Planners on a range of holistic advice services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed suitability reports and recommendation letters for clients.
• Support annual reviews and Annual Suitability Assessments.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection products.
• Liaise with providers to obtain policy information and illustrations.
• Assist advisers before and after client meetings.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure FCA compliance.
• Collaborate with compliance and administration teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of paraplanning processes and templates.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ paraplanning experience within a UK financial planning firm.
• DipPFS qualified or equivalent Level 4 qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
• Proven ability to produce compliant suitability reports.
• Familiarity with industry systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
