Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a respected independent Chartered Financial Planning firm in Exeter. You will work closely with advisers to deliver high‑quality, tailored financial planning solutions while benefiting from a supportive, boutique environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical paraplanning support to financial advisers.
• Prepare suitability reports and detailed financial planning recommendations.
• Research a wide range of financial products and providers.
• Assist advisers with complex client cases and strategy development.
• Ensure all advice is fully compliant and accurately documented.
• Liaise with providers and internal teams to guarantee smooth delivery of advice.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within financial planning or wealth management.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial planning products and solutions.
• Progress towards or completion of relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Financial Planning) is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, written and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Salary up to £50,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
