Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support

About the role

The Paraplanner will work closely with a Financial Adviser to support the entire client journey, from fact‑finding to delivering compliant recommendations. This full‑time, hybrid position offers the chance to develop expertise in financial planning while ensuring client advice is accurate and beneficial.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Adviser throughout the client lifecycle.
• Prepare suitability reports and client correspondence to meet strict deadlines.
• Maintain compliance by ensuring all client documentation is complete and correctly filed.
• Conduct comparative research to underpin client recommendations.
• Analyse fact‑finds to understand each client’s overall financial position.
• Perform annual reviews in line with service level agreements.

Required profile

• Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma (or working towards it).
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Paraplanner.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
• Experience of managing or supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical ability, particularly with financial records.
