Paraplanner – High Net Worth Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Paraplanner to support our advisers in delivering robust, high‑quality advice to wealthy families with investable assets of £3 million and above. You will join a collaborative, technically strong team where paraplanners are valued as specialists and contribute directly to client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside Client Relationship Managers and Directors to develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client’s circumstances and objectives.
• Provide technical analysis and professional judgement on existing financial and legal arrangements.
• Build and maintain detailed cash‑flow models, testing assumptions, scenarios and long‑term outcomes with advisers.
• Prepare suitability letters, financial plans and client‑specific documentation and communications.
• Attend client meetings where appropriate to support the advice process.
• Keep up‑to‑date with relevant products, solutions and planning techniques to ensure advice remains informed and appropriate.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent.
• Minimum Level 4 qualification, working towards or already Chartered.
• Significant experience in a paraplanning role within a regulated, high‑net‑worth environment.
• Demonstrated ability to apply technical product knowledge pragmatically to real client situations.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
