Paraplanner – High‑Net‑Worth Client Focus

About the role

Join a chartered wealth management firm that serves high‑net‑worth clients with an average of £1.2 million AUM per client. As a qualified Paraplanner you will work closely with a Chartered Financial Adviser on technically complex portfolios for London‑based professionals and executives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bespoke financial planning reports and suitability letters.
• Conduct detailed research across pensions, tax planning, inheritance tax, investments and protection.
• Build lifetime cash‑flow models using tools such as Voyant or CashCalc.
• Attend client meetings alongside the adviser to provide real‑time support.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and high‑quality documentation in line with FCA standards.
• Contribute to the formulation of complex wealth strategies for high‑net‑worth clients.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Paraplanner supporting advisers, preferably in high‑net‑worth or complex planning environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, ISAs, inheritance tax, trusts and tax‑efficient investing.
• Advanced report writing and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days office, 2 days remote).
• Desirable: working towards Chartered Financial Planner status and experience with financial planning software.
