Paraplanner – Hybrid, Full‑time in Cheshire

About the role

An established Chartered Financial Planning and Wealth Management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team in Cheshire. This non‑client‑facing position works closely with Client Managers and Financial Planners, providing research, analysis and documentation that underpins high‑quality financial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and prepare recommendations across pensions, investments and protection.
• Produce clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports.
• Collaborate with Client Managers to understand client objectives and support appropriate recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of research and recommendations and stay up‑to‑date with regulatory changes.
• Provide technical support to Client Managers and Financial Planners and highlight issues or opportunities identified through research.

Required profile

• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a paraplanning role with strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
• Excellent research, analytical and report‑writing skills with high attention to detail.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance.
• Professional, proactive and collaborative approach.
