Paraplanner – Hybrid Role in Exeter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing independent financial planning firm in Exeter. The role offers a hybrid working model and the chance to work with a supportive team of advisers and administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake technical research and financial planning analysis.
• Prepare suitability reports for client cases.
• Assist advisers with complex planning cases.
• Support advisers throughout the advice process.
• Contribute to technical discussions and process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous Paraplanner experience within an IFA or wealth‑management firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and conducting financial research.
• Diploma qualified or working towards Chartered status (advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage workload.
• Proactive team player who enjoys supporting advisers.
