Paraplanner – Hybrid role in Glasgow

About the role

Our client, a nationally recognised Chartered IFA firm, is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their Glasgow office. The position offers a hybrid working model, with two days remote and three days on‑site each week, allowing a balanced approach to client work and team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and write detailed suitability reports for financial advice.
• Support advisers in the development of client recommendations and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Assist with data gathering, analysis and presentation for client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Paraplanner within a financial advisory environment.
• Familiarity with IFA processes and suitability reporting.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team‑oriented office culture.
• Motivation to pursue Chartered status (part‑Chartered candidates are welcomed).

Required skills

• Strong written communication for report preparation.
• Understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.
