Paraplanner – Hybrid Role in Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking a technical Paraplanner to join a forward‑thinking wealth management firm in Glasgow. The role supports client‑facing Financial Advisers by delivering high‑quality research, report writing and technical planning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth product and provider research.
• Prepare suitability reports and client recommendations.
• Support advisers with complex financial planning cases, including pension transfers, retirement and inheritance tax planning.
• Liaise with clients and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to process improvements and team development.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry regulations and technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Previous Paraplanning experience within Financial Services.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection.
• Experience with complex retirement and inheritance tax planning cases.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and client‑focused approach.
