Paraplanner – Technical Tax & Estate Planning

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning firm. The role focuses on complex tax planning, inheritance tax mitigation and business relief, supporting four advisors through a shared ticketing system.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare clear, compliant reports across a range of advice areas, including higher‑level planning.
• Handle technical cases, especially inheritance tax mitigation and business property relief.
• Collaborate with advisors to ensure smooth client journeys.
• Contribute to an efficient workflow through a pooled support system.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of paraplanning experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of inheritance tax (IHT) and business property relief (BPR) cases.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Experience supporting multiple advisors is desirable.

What we offer

• Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per year.
• Hybrid working with office bases in Harrow, Guildford or Rickmansworth.
