Paraplanner / Trainee IFA – Up to £55k

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and technical documentation.
• Conduct research across pensions, investments and protection products.
• Produce financial analysis and support recommendations.
• Prepare post‑meeting documentation, including fund switches and withdrawals.
• Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain policy information.
• Manage your own workflow while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Support advisers with client queries and ongoing servicing requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the wider client support and operations teams.
• Contribute to business projects and regulatory initiatives where required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Paraplanning or Senior Financial Planning Administrator role.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and conducting technical research.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proactive approach and genuine commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes.
• Progress towards or completion of Level 4 Diploma qualifications is advantageous.
