Paraplanner – Up to £50,000 – Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Paraplanner to join our client‑focused financial planning team in Warrington. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility while you work closely with advisers, administrators and investment specialists to support high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, tax planning, IHT and retirement strategies.
• Prepare suitability reports, cash‑flow models and risk assessments for financial advisers.
• Liaise with advisers to understand client objectives and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure all reports comply with regulatory standards and stay current with legislative changes.
• Maintain accurate client records using CRM and back‑office systems such as Intelligent Office or Xplan.
• Support advisers in client meetings when required.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) – essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax wrappers and protection products.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• CashCalc (or similar cash‑flow modelling tool).
• FE Analytics or Voyant.
• Intelligent Office, Xplan or comparable CRM/back‑office platforms.
