Paraplanner – Wealth Management (Edinburgh)

About the role

This is a full‑time Paraplanner position within a progressive wealth‑management firm. You will support a team of three High Net Worth Advisers, delivering research, report writing and client documentation while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality suitability reports and client documentation.
• Research funds, products and solutions to support advisers.
• Prepare illustrations, quotations, valuations and other financial analyses.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date client records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with planners and administrators to deliver consistent service.
• Respond promptly to client and colleague queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Paraplanner in an IFA or financial‑planning environment.
• Diploma‑level qualification or actively working towards it.
• Strong technical knowledge of retirement planning, tax, investments and estate planning.
• Excellent report‑writing ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
