Paraplanner – Wealth Management (Glasgow/Edinburgh/London)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive wealth management business as a Paraplanner. You will support a team of three high‑net‑worth advisers, delivering high‑quality research and suitability reports. The role is based in Glasgow with options to work from Edinburgh or London.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate suitability reports and client documentation.
• Conduct detailed research into funds, products and solutions.
• Prepare illustrations, quotations, valuations and other adviser‑support materials.
• Analyse complex financial scenarios and provide expert input.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client records and ensure compliance with legislative changes.
• Collaborate with planners and administrators to deliver consistent service.
• Respond promptly to client and colleague queries in a professional manner.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning environment.
• Diploma‑level qualification or actively working towards it.
• Strong technical knowledge of retirement planning, tax, investments and estate planning.
• Excellent report‑writing ability across a range of suitability reports.
• High attention to detail and a structured, organised approach.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to explain complex ideas.
