Paraplanner – Wealth Management (Hybrid, Bath)

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Paraplanner to join a growing regional IFA firm in Bath. The role is full‑time, hybrid (two days in the office) and offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 plus bonus. You will support financial advisers and help deliver high‑quality financial planning advice to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Compile research, write suitability reports and answer technical queries from advisers.
• Maintain compliant client files and ensure adherence to FCA regulations.
• Prepare pension, trust, inheritance tax and investment reviews, including cash‑flow forecasts.
• Perform technical calculations such as Capital Gains Tax, bond withdrawals and pension figures.
• Produce investment materials, quotes and illustrations for client meetings.
• Draft post‑meeting review letters and manage deadlines efficiently.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it).
• Mid‑level Paraplanning experience supporting financial advisers.
• Strong understanding of FCA requirements and financial planning processes.
• Excellent written communication and report‑writing ability.
• Organised, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
