Paraplanner – Wealth Management

About the role

Finlink Ltd is seeking an experienced paraplanner to join its East Hertfordshire office. The role supports financial advisers by delivering compliant, high‑quality planning reports and analysis for a holistic wealth‑management service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, retirement and estate planning.
• Prepare suitability reports, recommendation summaries and technical documentation.
• Assist with fact‑find analysis and identify appropriate financial planning strategies.
• Carry out product and fund comparisons, portfolio analysis and cash‑flow modelling.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and support the advice process from initial enquiry to implementation.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or financial planning environment.
• Progress toward Chartered status is advantageous but not essential.
